I have to decorate a cake for tomorrow and I think I will run a little short on the gumpaste decorations. Are there any tricks to making my cutout dry quicker? Can I pop them in the oven?[/img]

I had this problem a couple of months ago and bit the bullit and put them in the oven at 250 degrees. Worked like a charm.

you can also leave them to dry under a lamp....the anglepoise ones on a desk are pretty useful

It's very humid where I live but I don't have any problems getting gumpaste to dry by putting my figures (or whatever) in a COLD oven with only the light on. It also dries very quickly. I'd be afraid to turn the oven on. icon_eek.gif
