Stupid question but how do you attach fondant accents to a fondant cake? Water? RI? BC?

If you use RI, how long can you let RI sit unused before it goes bad? I've had a batch of RI in an airtight container for 6 months. Is this too old to use?

Water, clear vanilla, clear alcohol - any will do

You can use any of them or you can use glue (add a little water to some fondant and mix until you have a gooey glue).

Sorry don't know the answer on the RI. I am sure it depends on how it was made (real eggs or not).

Oh yea, I forgot you could use clear alcohol! It's been a while since I've worked with fondant. I have a nice big bottle of vodka in the freezer icon_smile.gif
