I have seen several tiered cakes on CC that use large feathers as a topper, which looks quite stunning. My questions are - what kind of feathers are they? Where do I get them? How do you stick them in the cake - posey picks?
I am in Australia. Thank you!

I've bought feathers from the floral department at the craft store. I just slipped the quill end into a hollow plastic lollipop stick (a coffee stir would work too) and pushed that into the cake.

I've had this tutorial bookmarked for a while but haven't had a reason to try it yet myself - I love the look of these feathers, hope its helpful!
