I am making a large cake to be eaten on Saturday (7/24) but it has to leave my house Friday.
I was planning to bake and freeze cakes this weekend and make buttercream, etc.
I would then defrost the cakes Wed a.m.
-fill and crumb coat Wed night
-frost/decorate Thursday night
-out the door Friday
-to be eaten Saturday.
Would that work? Would the cake still be good by Saturday?
I'm thinking so but need some reassurance...or other ideas of necessary!
