I made some cookies and cream filling for a cake, but it just seems like there is something missing. I used heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla & cookie crumbs. I tastes good, but it just feels too airy and there isn't a dense creaminess to it that I would like. Any suggestions on what I could add to it? Butter? Cream cheese? I'm just kind of stumped right now.

Thanks,

Andrea

I ake cookies and cream filling by mixing crushed cookies in with my buttercream.

What exactly was your recipe?

Yeah I use buttercream too....or you could use a mousse.

If you have some white chocolate pudding or vanilla mousse on hand you could fold a little bit in to give it some flavor....or make some whipped white chocolate ganache to fold in....to save what you already made.

I always wondered...when you add crushed Oreos to BC, do you first remove the center filling of each cookie?
