I love all of his cake designs and the amazing gold color that he gets on his cakes. I have tried coloring the fondant/gumpaste and adding luster dust, gold powders and gold airbrush (which I hate the most) and have yet to achieve that rich gold feeling. Does anyone know how he achieves his? Or any better ideas?
TIA

I watched a Youtube video about this just yesterday! He showed the camera the gold dust he uses and it costs hundreds of dollars per small can. It's edible gold dust, 22 carat. Soooooo, that's why it looks so darn good!
