Hi guys, I really need your help!

I am making cupcakes tomorrow for a coworkers birthday. I'm doing buttercream frosting with fondant flowers on top. But I have two problems!

1. The flowers will be on the frosting but tilted a little. Is there anything I can do to make sure they don't slip right off? Can I fashion a sugary "adhesive" of some sort?

2. My little flowers were easy to do, I used a little pearl sprinkle in the middle, but I couldn't find a larger sprinkle to use in the middle of my bigger flowers, so I piped little balls out of royal icing. How can I "glue" the royal icing to my fondant? I've never worked with RI before and I've heard it disintegrates at the touch of moisture.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have any royal icing left? You can glue the dots and the flowers on the cake with it.

No, I threw it out icon_sad.gif Is that the only way to safely do it? I could whip up another batch if there's no other way.
