I need to make a computer cake, monitor and keyboard. Can I mold fondant onto a real keyboard and then take it off? Also, if I cover a foam board with blk fondant, what would you use for the screen?
Thanks for any ideas...

I don't think that would be a good idea to put fondant on a key board. why don't you go to the gallery and do a search type in computer look at those cakes cake there are some really awsome cakes

I'd make the whole thing (keybord) out of fondant and tylose or gumpaste.. The keyboard out of gumpaste and the monitor out of cake and fondant. good luck
