Had a customer ask me to do this cake...Does anyone know what the sparkle things are coming down the front? Are they placed on or painted? Can anyone tell?

Here's the link: <a href='http://blog.pinkcakebox.com/anniversary-wedding-cake-2008-07-01.htm'><img src='http://www.pinkcakebox.com/images/cake688.jpg' alt='Anniversary cake yellow bow with brooch'></a>

THANKS!

They look like they are piped on....I think whatever way you choose, it will look good. I would do what you feel most comfortable with.

You could even do it with something like these : http://www.globalsugarart.com/product.php?id=25409&name=Diamond%20Sugar%20Jewelry%20Stones%20-%20Size%201%20-%20by%20GSA

Not sure if they're the edible ones on this cake but still looks amazing with the bit of bling!
