OK, so not really a bakery, and as IndyDebi has proved before, it is probably from Gordon's Food Service (or the like) but... my hubby is in love with Carino's lemon cake.

I think they bill it as "Italian Lemon Sponge cake with lemon mascarpone filling". Any thoughts on a worthy recipe substitute???? The filling is the best- light, yet rich.

Any suggestions????
