Before I buy too much fondant, can someone verify how much I would need for square cakes 15 x 11 x 4 high, 13 x 9 x 4 high and
8 x 9 x 4 high? I know there is a chart, but I just want a second opinion before I purchase this amount of fondant!!

Thanx!!!

They aren't square, they are rectangle....I'm thinking about 15 pounds of fondant.

http://www.wilton.com/decorating/fondant/fondant-coverage-chart.cfm

11x15 - 60oz
13x9 - 40 oz

They don't have a 8x9 but
7x11 - 30oz.
8x8 inch square says 36oz

So my math says atleast 12lbs.

Oh sorry I missed the chart where it said 2in. I'm use to the wedding serving chart that is has 4in tall sheets.

11x15 - 60oz x2 = 120
13x9 - 40 oz x2 = 80

8x8 inch square says 36oz (I'm guessing about 42 for a in, since that is the middle range between the 8 and 10in numbers.

Okay maybe I'm still not completely awake, with my other numbers I was thinking that a pound was 12oz. OPPS!

I'm getting 15.13lbs with the doubled numbers on the sheet. I'd probably order 16+ myself just to be safer, especially if it is a precolored fondant.
