Okay, so I'm goign to try to take advantage of the sale and get some SPS pieces.

Question is this - what column sets are the most useful? My cakes are generally pretty close to 4" but a little under.

Also, do you get plates the same size as your cakes? ie 6" plate for 6" cake?

I know these have probably been asked and answered in the giant SPS thread as well as others but I'm not finding the search function to be friendly today icon_biggrin.gif

TIA

For me, I get plates the same size as the cake. Unless you need it bigger for some reason, ie you need to sit a figure on it or something.

I buy the 4in columns and cut them down if my cakes don't bake up high enough for some odd reason. I use my DH's band saw.
