cindy58 Posted 6 Jul 2010 , 11:00pm

Yes, congrats GeminiRJ! I love ecrandal cutters!

I'm so happy they changed the colors of their website -- that red and black was blinding me.

sweeteecakes Posted 7 Jul 2010 , 3:17am

This is awesome! Congratulations! They picked the perfect person!!!

GeminiRJ Posted 7 Jul 2010 , 5:58pm

Thanks everyone! I was very honored that they asked if they could spotlight my cookie designs. I've got lots of their cutters, and LOVE them! I used to cringe at the cost, but it's worth it not to have to hand cut all those cookies. It saves so much time...and time is money....

thatslifeca Posted 7 Jul 2010 , 6:10pm

Congradulations Gemini. They are beautiful.

Lenette Posted 7 Jul 2010 , 6:17pm

That is wonderful!! Congratulations!

You are such a talented lady, the honor is well deserved. I really appreciate that you are willing to share and help those of us who want to learn how to improve our cookie decorating.

Revel, thanks for posting this - I hadn't seen it but I've long been a fan of GeminiRJ's cookies! Now I know where I can get some custom cutters done as well.

Congratulations, GeminiRJ!!

GeminiRJ Posted 8 Jul 2010 , 12:57am

They're a wonderful resource to keep in mind for custom cutters. Fabulous craftsmanship at a fantastic price. There's a place in my town that makes custom cutters, but their starting price is around $80! Yikes.

auntbeesbaking Posted 15 Jul 2010 , 3:31pm

Congratulations, Susan!

We are so proud of you!! You are going places (decorating for the White House...)! Can't wait until I own them...you should get a commission on everyone they sell!!!! thumbs_up.gif

Well deserved Susan!

JGMB Posted 17 Jul 2010 , 10:24am

Congratulations, GeminiRJ!!!!!!!!!! They're all wonderful cutters but, being a quilter, I especially love the Sunbonnet Sue. BTW, how are those applique pillows that you had planned coming along?

Marianna46 Posted 17 Jul 2010 , 11:33am

Hi, Susan! I knew there was a genius among us when I first saw your cookies in the May cookie club postings. From there I went to your profile and put most of your stuff in my favorites - and I'm not really even a cookie person! I'm totally thrilled for you that your talent has been recognized this way. Congrats and a big hug!

I finished all the pillows, and have decided I really like applique! Here's a photo of two of the pillows.

BTW, Ecrandal's prices are really good...cooper cookie cutters are expensive!
I'm already picking my favorite cutters aggghhhh, I spend too much in this hobby icon_cry.gif ;-

auntbeesbaking Posted 25 Jul 2010 , 9:16pm

luv2bake6 Posted 26 Jul 2010 , 2:51am

just stunning!!

Rosie2 Posted 28 Jul 2010 , 8:35pm

Just wanted to say that I just ordered some cutters from Ecrandal and they have excellent customer service! thumbs_up.gif I had questions regarding the cutters and they responded immediately!!

I ordered: the Beach babes, the Peek a boo baby and the Wedding car. All from the GeminiRJ collection icon_smile.gif

GeminiRJ Posted 29 Jul 2010 , 5:41pm

Any day now I'll be getting a package from them. They're sending me the medium size cutters for Sunbonnet Sue and Overall Sam. I took those cookies to a family gathering, and they were very well received. Many recognized the design from their grandmother's quilt. I can't wait for the cutters! So-o-o much quicker to use cutters than having to hand cut the cookies. I'm like a kid at Christmas when an ecrandal package shows up.

Susan, quick question...is there a cutter for the Star War cookies you made? or did you cut by hand? those cookies are amazing!! thumbs_up.gif what about the 'lobster' cookie, is there a cutter for it?

I cut the Star Wars and lobster cookies by hand, using a template. You can buy a set of Star Wars cutters at Williams and Sonoma, I believe.

And my ecrandal package showed up yesterday! Yeah! As always, the cutters look fabulous. I've never been disappointed with their products.

Joanne1944 Posted 30 Jul 2010 , 5:05pm

Will the lobster and pail be made into a cutter? I love ecrandal cutters.
