Stupid Question But Can I Freeze Cupcakes?

this is for my own son's party btw. i'm trying to get as much as i possibly can done ahead of time and i'm wondering if i can bake the cuppies and freeze them like in a ziploc bag or something and then take them out the day before to ice. will that work?

Yes, you can definitely freeze them! I do it all the time and believe it or not, they are even more moist after freezing them!

I've heard that sometimes the papers loosen up after freezing them. Never tried so I don't know for sure. If you don't use papers then shouldn't be an issue. Or might work just fine anyways doesn't hurt to try.

I think loosening the paper is not an issue as long as the cupcake is delicious...anyways, the people would not focus on the wrapper... icon_biggrin.gif

It was discussed just last week. Consensus was everybody who does it works fine.
