What am I doing wrong? I cannot get my fondant to go through my KA pasta maker. I flatten out the beginning of it but it just sits there, it will NOT pull it through. Any advice is appreciated....Thanks!
trying to thin it too much in one shot I bet.
start on thickest setting -- with fondant rolled out a bit thicker than that.
then run it through one or twice.
reset to 1 notch thinner
run it through
reset 1 notch thinner
run ti through
keep repeating until as thin as you need it to be.
Doug described it exactly the way I do it. It sounds like you might have your piece of fondant a little thick, so it won't catch in the roller. Try rolling it just a little thinner before trying to run it through the pasta machine.
