Traveling W/cake Advice

Thursday morning we will be traveling 10 hours to visit my daughter and bringing her a sample of the cake I intend to make for her wedding.

The cake will be torted WASC, filled with a creamy strawberry filling, covered with ganache. (What do you think of this flavor combo?)

I intend to have everything done Wednesday. Should this be refrigerated Wednesday night or left out on the counter in a box?
