I was just asked by a friend if I could do a space shuttle 3-d cake. I've never done this before and have no idea how to determine how many servings. Also how do you charge for scuplted/3-d cakes since you have to throw away so many scraps?

I do a bunch of math...if you know you need 30 servings, and each serving is 1x2x4....

I charge $5 per servings for sculpted cakes due to the extra supports and time and wastage, etc. My usual is $3/serving.
