How do I make the skirt of a doll cake look like this. thank you

Hi, you can make fondant logs to place under the skirt to make this effect. I will try to explain, here goes.

Ice the dool cake (skirt)
Take a small amount to fondant and roll into a log, the length of the doll skirt (if u choose).
Place the log (horizontally) against the doll. Attach it to the dool skirt with a smidget of water, just to adhere.
Continue all around the skirt until back to the very first one u applied.
Be sure to space them out as desired.
Then apply your fondant for the entire skirt and cover. Pinch just a tad, the fondant u just overlayed in btw two fingers to get the look in your photo.

Instructions like these should be in yr box that the doll mold pan came in as well. HTH GOOD LUCK

same as the above comments, however, I roll the logs thinner on the upper skirt and larger toward the bottom.
