I am a newbie and I'm dying to try the quilted cake technique using mmf. I am also a bit of a perfectionist and was wondering the best method to achieve even spacing. Can someone please help me?

It is explained very well with a drawing to illustrate in this previous thread...

I use the easy to use three diamond quilter. I start in the back, then work my way around the cake. Once I start getting somewhat near the back, I eye it up..... spacing SLIGHTLY more or less so I match up in the back.

IF I can help more, let me know.
