Hello great cake decorators. I have a order for a cake icing color PALOMINO and I'm not sure how to mix this to match bridesmaids color dresses. Does anyone have any ideas?

I would have to see a swatch, but I just start experimenting with a SMALL amount of icing or fondant. Just keep track of what you added icon_smile.gif

Best wishes.

I have tried several times and no luck yet. It is to be the color of a PALOMINO horse and that is a golden color, but the swatch i have is a tan golden pinky shiny color. Boy what a problem this is ggoing to be. Thanks

Would it work to try a light tan color and dust it with a pink lustre or pearl dust to add the pink shiny tone. Or maybe a tan with a touch of pink with gold pearl/lustre? Just thinking out loud. It is hard to picture the color without seeing the swatch.
