no i meant how high. is it 8"x3"? or x2"?

I have 8"x3" Wilton rounds. I usually throw in an entire box mix and bake 325-350 for about 1 hour and 25 minutes with Wilton baking strips.

Depends on the type of cake...and the recipe.

wilton's chart says it bakes at 350 for 30-35 minutes, i assume this is w/o strips.

if it's a normal (non-butter) cake box recipe, i'd check it after 45 minutes.

http://www.wilton.com/cakes/making-cakes/baking-party-cake-2-inch-pans.cfm

This tells you exactly how long to bake, temperature, serving, how much frosting. I love this guide
