Hi, I made flip flop cakes for a friend and they are going camping with it. The cake is frosted with IndryDeb's buttercream and decorated in MMF. Will it survive in a hot RV if so for how long? It doesn't fit in the fridge.

It will survive in the heat about 45 minutes, assuming there's no air conditioning, some humidity, and the outside temp is around 95. After that, the frosting is going to start sliding off the cake.

How about an ice chest and dry ice?

Thank you. That is what I was afraid of. They'll just have to bring an extra ice chest for it and hope it doesn't get too much condensation.

I think that it would last about an hour at 80 degrees with some humidity. I would suggest a cooler.
