Ok I need ideas on make some kind of hawaiian cake, I close friend is having a luau party with no children and wont me to do a Hawaiian cake, this cake has to be nice, because not only is she having a lkdjfd she is also renewing her vows after 7 years. The luau can be a big thing for me, to get other business, there will be at lease 75 people there. There will be a pig roast, fire dancers, dj, bartenders, the whole nine so what ever I do I need for it to be nice and stand out. I going to do a banana flavor cake, but after that my mind goes blank.

Dont stress, the simpler the better. are you planning to make a sheet cake or a tiered cake?

I've done 3 hawaiian cakes, 2 sheet cakes and a 2-tier cake. There is a lot of inspiration on here if you search hawaiian, tropical, etc. Some idea's I used were Hibiscus flowers, flip flops, palm trees, waterfalls, beach.

Good luck and post pictures when your done.

If you need a message you could use: ALOHA NUI LOA, which means "With much Love" or "Warmest Wishes".
When I was making a Luau themed Bridal Shower cake I contacted our nephew, who lives in Honolulu.
He told me that this phrase would be a the best to use.
On the shower cake I used molded and pearlized shells, crushed "vanilla wafer" sand, and colorful tropical flowers.

Here's a cute one that could be fairly easy if you start the flowers now. The cake is due July 10th (you said June) so you may have time to practice if you have to.

i had to come up with a hawaiian theme cake for a luau birthday this year and ended up doing a tiki mask that was a big hit (and fairly easy)...some of the other ideas i had given my friend (who was hosting the party) was a tiered cake with white chocolate shells, tropical flowers, a roasted pig, a volcano, surfboard...etc

good luck!!
