I love the look of ribbon around the bottom of a cake but I don't always use fondant to cover the cakes. If I use fondant it's not a problem but if I'm using buttercream it just soaks thru the ribbon.

I am needing to know where I can find the right kind of ribbon. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I read on a couple of post that people put wax paper behind the ribbon (to the unexposed side). Hope this helps.
