Will fondant accents slide off of buttercream in 90' weather?

They shouldn't?? If you use melted choc. to attach them, they are not moving anywhere.

My son's Birthday was outside at a park this year. The temp. got up to the 90's. The cake I made had fondant accents (Spider-man Cake) and it was fine..
