This is the smash cake and I have a tiara to go on top of the cake.
My question is would you leave the cake board as is or cover it in pink and white marble fondant?
I am on the dowhill slide on this, been up since 4:45AM, did take a break to get the grey hairs colored.
thanks for yall's opinions..................

PS I am going to put a pink shell border around it.

at this point, I'd leave well enough alone and just add the tiara.

Leave the board alone. Yes, add the border. You might need to move your lettering to get the border in there.

Ditto here too . . . . . BUT if the ''tiara'' is from Wilton, there is a recall.

So... you decided NOT to cover up the corrugated cardboard edge that shows with a border?
