I have to do an all organic cake and they also don't want milk. Now usually I use WASC but I want to do this one from scratch. Can anyone tell me what to use instead, can it just be water? or do you have a good scratch vanilla without milk in it?
I made vegan cupcakes and used coconut milk. They are delish! And I am not a vegan. Okay I eat vegetables, but I also eat meat too.
I like Vanilla Soy Milk in baking. Just don't get regular, use the Vanilla.
Depending on the flavor, I've subbed orange, pineapple or apple juice. You can also use water or soy vanilla milk or coconut milk as suggested.
