I am looking for a cake recipe that has powdered jello mixed into it. Everything i'm finding is using a cake mix. Can i go buy a regular yellow cake recipe and just add the jello, or do i need to increase to amount of liquid in the recipe?

Just mix the dry Jello with the dry ingredients.
Add the other ingredients as you usually do, no changes needed.

i decided to use a chocolate cake recipe that calls for 6oz of cocoa powder and i used a 6oz box of lime jello instead. It turned out great and really moist.
