I went into my favorite bakery (Nashoba Bakery, Acton, MA) and they have a take one, leave one, book shelf. I usually ignore this...but one book was calling me

It is written by Gesine Bullock-Prado and called "Confections of a Closet Master Baker".

I did not know it was a memoir or that the sister of the author is Sandra Bullock. I just loved the quick snapshot on the backcover.

Gesine was Sandra's executive and decided to leave Hollywood behind and open a bakery in Vermont! Whats so great about this book is that it is TRUE and very inspirational! It is funny, gives awesome recipes and is a fast read.

ps. I made up the 4 out of 5 cookies (instead of stars)...good idea?
