I am headed from AZ to Cheyenne, Wy tomorrow for my cousin's wedding. I am making a 3 tier square cake. It will be covered in Satin Ice, have painted peacock feathers up the side and a gumpaste hydrangea bouquet on top.
Is there anything in particular I need to know about baking in WY? I know that I need to adjust my cake recipe for higher altitude, but will any other parts of the process be affected? I plan on refrigerating the cake (I always refrigerate my cakes- always!) Should I worry much about the condensation?
