Can I use chocolate modeling clay to make stripes on the sides of a fondant covered cake? I've heard about different ways to use CMC, sometimes mixing it with fondant or gumpaste, sometimes adding tylose to it in the summer. What has been your experience with CMC? What exactly can I do with it?

I love it. I used it to make zebra stripes for a butter cream purse cake. It is as versitile as fondant...but the better thing is, you can smooth out your seems. I just love the stuff! I've never mixed it with anything though.
