Fixing Fondant Seems

How do you fix fondant seems, where the fondant ribbon comes together or a castle wall comes together? ON cake boss it looks like they piece every cake together but i dont know how they mend there seems togehter so they dont show, any ideas?

also where do you all get supar sharp exacto knife blades or what do you use to cut your fondant without the jagged tearing like my exacto does...

You can seal your fondant seams with royal. Take a gloved finger and run over it to smooth it out. Last weekend I used buttercream with the same technique and it worked as well.

You can try mixing some of your fondant with a small amount of water and using like royal icing, you can also use royal icing but you need to make sure you get the same shade as your fondant. Normally I use a smoother to try and blend the seam in.

Use a pizza cutter! (or new Exacto blades from the hardware store or craft shop.)
