Is it just me or has this place really slowed down? I've seen alot of posts go un answered. Just seems to be not quite as busy as it used to be

Not unusual for the time of year. Wedding cake season in full force, vacations for families, and of course, the weather is nice - for those who don't have cakes to do, they're outside!

It is always slower this time of year. I have been here since '05 and see it every year.

Well, you make a pretty good point there. I dont get these "vacation" things you speak of. I also dont consider myself to be on the wedding cake "level" of cake-ness. Hmm, oh well

Not only wedding season. I work at a grocery store and it's super busy not with wedding cakes, but graduation cakes. The weekend before last we did about 500 orders. Last weekend was a good 300-400. This weekend is going to be in the 300 range I'm sure.

When i get home I barely have enough energy to eat let alone check out the forums for anything I can chat about.
