Would someone please tell me the correct way to apply fondant to a cake. It seems there are about a billion ways to do this, but there's got to be one that's better than the other. Everytime I put it on, you can see the distinction between the layers and I usually get bubbles. I need to know what the condition of the cake should be before applying and anything else you can think of.

Never put fondant on a frozen cake or one that is "too cold". WATCH Planet Cakes "how to cover a cake with fondant" video on youtube....very helpful tutorial
