I am not sure if this question has been asked but I always have trouble with my brown fondant looking dull once I get it on the cake.
Does anyone have any tips about keeping or making it shiny after getting it on the cake without using luster?
Also, I always wipe my fondant off before putting it on my cake but noticed the other day (watching a cake show) they didn't. Am I the only one who wipes off excess cornstarch?
We use a steamer to get off the extra powedered sugar and it makes our fondant shiny.
I use a steamer as well.
Ladies if you don't mind what kind of steamers do you all use???
