I am making a star wars cake. I want to do the cake in a really dark blue/black looking sky buttercream how can i do this and can I give it like a s heen to it like you would with fondant using the luster.

have you considered food color spray or airbrushing?

I don't have an airbrush but i did by the spray. I made blue icing last night got it as dark as I could but it is still not asd dark as I would like it will it hurt it to add black to it and I could have kinda bue black sky kinda like what you see in star wars pics.
