what color purple do I need to use to make a barney cake and does any one have the instructions for the waving barney cake pan I think its 1993 if so could you please let me know

if you are just looking for colors there is discontinued pan instructions on the Wilton site, go to Shaped pans - on the left, then scroll down and choose character pans, then search Barney.

What is a crumb coat and when would it be used? I'm new on here and tryng to learn so if this is the wrong place to ask please let me know. Thanks Grandy

The crumb coat is done after you have filled and built your cake. It is a thin layer of frosting that covers the cake to basically glue the crumbs to the cake so that when you are frosting the cake later cumbs won't show up in your frosting.
