Hi, all! I was thinking about torting a strawberry cake with Philly Ready-To-Eat Cheesecake Filling and sliced fresh strawberries... (layer of cake, then a layer of pre-made filling, layer of sliced berries, cake, pre-made filling, berries, cake, filling, berries, final layer of cake). Can I do that? icon_confused.gif

Fresh fruit... anything I should be concerned about? I don't want to cut them too early, but I also want to allow enough time for the assembled cake to properly settle prior to decorating. birthday.gif

Also, any reservations about using the ready-to-eat cheesecake filling as a cake filling with the strawberries? icon_smile.gif

My plan is to bake Wed evening. Then slice & fill the cakes Thurs evening (and refrigerate). Then cover and decorate Friday (refrigerate), final touches Saturday morning (refrigerate) before mid-day delivery. icon_lol.gif

Any advise? Thanks in advance for all your help & inspiration! I really appreciate it! thumbs_up.gif

thanks!
