A co-worker asked me about donating a cake to a Relay for Life auction next week. The person they originally asked just backed out. . .

I was asking for ideas for what they wanted the cake to look like. She finally came up with a Cactus and Purples. Her dad died several years back from cancer and he LOVED his cactus. They each have starts from his cactus and they are each 7 feet tall. Her dad also named each one of them.

SO, any wonderful ideas out there of how to incorporate a cactus and purple? My brain is on overdrive with a Hannah Montana Purse cake and an iCarly Topsy Turvey cake to make within the next 10 days.

Would SO appreciate any ideas you would have icon_smile.gif

Hmmm.... seems to me that the cactus and purple are more for her family. If you are donating to an auction, maybe it should be something more general to attract more bids? Otherwise, how about a flower pot/dish with a cactus garden. Maybe some purple blooms on the plants? Or a purple pot?
