Could someone please tell me the secret to airbrushing luster or disco dust onto a cake? I've tried several times with no success.

I keep my luster dust with vodka mix in a small bottle and just shake it real good before use. The amount of sheen depends on the amount of luster dust you add to your vodka. You might want to start with a very small bottle to make your batch.

Then just spray! If you find your machine is luster dust will do...then "back flush" your air brush by adding some cleaner, or water to the well, putting your finger over the end of the nozzle where the spray comes out and pressing the button. You will see your liquid bubbling in the well. This will release any particles.
