How much frosting can you eat before you get queasy? I haven't found my limit yet, but I'm working on it. Whimsical Bakehouse chocolate buttercream tastes like mousse, and I can eat it by the bowlful.
At this point I can eat about a spoonful and get queasy. When I first started doing cakes I could eat icing by the "bowlfuls" but now I can hardly stand to taste it.
I have yet to reach that level of self-control. But I don't make cakes every day--or even every week. So after 30+ years of home baking, I still love icing!
