I'm attempting to place a 'scripted' team name onto a sport shirt cake. Normally I pipe the edges of each letter with royal icing. After it drys I fill in the letter with flow icing and allow it to dry several days before placing it on the cake. However I've not done a 'scripted' name before and thought SugarVeil would help as it looks pretty flexible. Can I do it the same way?

Yes, tvtorp, this is a great project for SugarVeil. You can trace the logo with SugarVeil on greased parchment and then fill the outline with SugarVeil (in the same or different color). When set, you can bend the entire piece to place onto or around a cake.
