I am starting a home based cake business. I have all my permits and such but am now trying to figure out the wholesale part of it. I already contacted Wilton. I looked online but want to make sure it is a reputable place. Does anyone have info on other Wholesale suppliers? Thank you!!

BakeryCrafts and CK Products are two you'll likely want. Also, see if there's a Dawn Foods or a BakeMark with a Will Call desk.

Doesn't Wilton have a $200 minimum first order? There's not $200 worth of their stuff I'd want.

You might also look for a Cash and Carry type of businesss that carry some bakery supplies. They usually carry boards and boxes.

Remember a Wholesale Purchase is a purchase of anyone item in quantity. Leah is right, Wilton doesn't carry items that you want to have too many of the same item laying around tieing up your money.
