so i made the cutest little gumpaste babies last night and I woke up this morning to drizzly fog and the babies looked like they were outside over night. I nearly died. how does this happen? I have a very important wedding this weekend that needs a few cala lillies and i am so crushed by what happened to these babies i think I am going to order the lillies from global sugar art. I made the stamens out of gumpaste about 3 days ago and today they are completely sticky. Is this a common occurance with wilton gumpaste? It is making me hate wilton.
so do I order the premade, super easy flowers, or am I doing something wrong???
thanks,
kym

I feel your pain, but it isn't the brand, it's the fact that sugar is hydroscopic. If you can keep your flowers in an air conditioned environment, that'll help.
