I read on here someplace that someone used a certain type of tape when painting on fondat to get straight lines. I can't find the post. Does anyone know what type of tape can be used? I want to be sure it is food safe so it doesn't leave any adhesive behind.

Maybe painters tape, it wouldn't be food safe but it isn't as sticky as the other tapes out there.

Well, the idea behind painter's tape is that it doesn't leave adhesive behind..........

There are several brands of painter's tape designed for "delicate" surfaces. On dry fondant, they work very nicely.
