I made a cake for a customer (my second!) that has a FBCT of the Hogwarts Crest. It turned out okay, but the transfer ended up cracking in one small location. I fixed the it last night (and in doing so have realized what I should have done differently)....but now I'm not sure if I should offer her a discount or not. I'm charging her $75 for it but was thinking I should tell her $65?

I would give her the discount. It's not a huge discount but she will appreciate it and you'll look like a professional who takes care of her customers. It's win-win.

Plus, you won't toss and turn at night regretting it later (I've been there and done that! not worth $10) icon_smile.gif

Thanks Motta. I made the offer when I delivered it, pointed out the area I was referring to and she declined. Loved the cake.
