I've been putting left over cake in the freezer for awhile now thinking I'd make cake balls someday. How long in the freezer is too long? They're all wrapped really well in press n' seal. TIA

If they're wrapped very well and absolutely no air can get to them I'm thinking for quite awhile. Nothing ever last that long around my house but I've had cake scraps in the freezer for up to 3 months and they were fine.

You can keep a very well wrapped cake in the freezer for a year.

I was thinking the same. After all, that's how long the top layer of a wedding cake gets frozen if they save it for their first anniversary!
