im new here so please be patient with me icon_smile.gif
just want to check, can you use chiffon cake under a fondant? because i noticed chiffon is very soft in texture, would it collapse when covered with fondant?

I'm not positive but I'm going to say no. Chiffon cake is so fluffy soft that I think it would collapse from the weight of the fondant. If I'm wrong maybe someone else will see this and correct me. thumbs_up.gif

Fondant needs to be on a firm cake.
