Hi all. I cover my boarda with paper and put clear contact paper on top. I've never decorated my boards before and I've seen so many here that are too cute. I want to do yhis for my next cake. Do I apply the fondant cutouts under the contact paper or on it? What do I use to make it stick?

I just cover my boards completly with fondant but if you want to add fondant cutouts to the contact paper, piping gel or royal icing will work perfectly.
