Hi I am new here! but I love the site!! I have a question. How can I prevent my cake domes to mist up (or steam up) when I refrigerate my cakes? I heard it works when they are put inside the dome while beeing inside a cold atmosphere ( inside the fridge) but it does not seem to work for me. Also I noticed that certain types of cakes mist up more then others.
Is there a special trick or something?? Please help!!!
The mist is caused when warm, moist cake hits the cold of the fridge. Cool everything before putting away.
